- Certified as an International Childbirth Educator
- Professor of Childbirth Education and Doula Training at Salt Lake Community College
- Postpartum Doula Instructor at Midwives College of Utah
- 5 years of teaching childbirth classes in a hospital setting
- Private childbirth educator for 20 years
